After the 2004 election, I quit following politics on a regular basis. I still knew more than the average person, but I had to get away from the partisan bullshit that seems to be more important than doing what is right for the country. After Obama's first week in office, I'm going back into political hibernation. The Dems modify the stimulus package to placate the Republicans, and yet none of the Republicans voted for the package. Now the Republicans are saying all the crap that should have been said as the Idiot of the last 8 years ran this country into the ground. I'll keep up by visiting some blogs occasionally, but mostly I'm going to visit blogs that demonstrate the magic of life is, like Carpe You Some Diem!
